Echoes B:TBatB praise. I say that as a guy who tends to take his super-hero fiction very seriously – but one of the joys of the show is that it takes that 50s-60s Batman goofiness both seriously and with love, so that you laugh with it, not at it.

Brave and the Bold was a HARD sell for me when we first started watching it. I was coming off Young Justice as my introduction to DC animation, then Justice League and JL:Unlimited.

Like I said, it was… jarring. But damned if it wasn’t good. We rewatch that stuff as much any of the shows, except YJ.

At least Jason doesn’t have this problem. Yet. (He’s waded around in too many swamps to be comfortable wearing cargo shorts.)
