Alycia Through The Looking-Glass

Notes:

  1. This was a bitch to write, if only because there’s so much similarity between the two conversants.
  2. Actually, the biggest problem I encountered was the nocturnal timeframe vs. the cartoon image of daylight that they are working in to begin with.
  3. On the other hand, it’s easy to get too distracted with detail. A lengthy segment about their traveling to the Grove, to match up with the illustration of their talk from Mike, turned out to be a creative dead end.
  4. It felt a bit more melodramatic than usual … but is truly, in some ways, a more intense experience than we’ve seen Alycia in, both because it’s such a crucial moment under discussion and because of who, she’s talking with.
  5. For the record, she disabled Rusty in her way to kill Byron. Jason didn’t ask her about that part of the tale.
