What’s Mizzle actually piloting? A nascent Arcanum - a sort of unfinished “child”, something that never grew into a specific thing like a sky goddess or gambling cat, something too curious and impulsive to settle for one identity.
Mizzle and the others stopped by a little shack next to a tall pine tree. When they come out, the tree is there - but there’s also a tall white snake-like shape, doing its best to imitate a tree.
The team needs to travel underwater. Out of nowhere, the Prisma’s mouth opens hugely and impossibly wide, gulping down the whole group! Rather than being swallowed into a gullet, though, it’s more like the team is now stuck in what seems like a soap bubble. The creature dives, and its luminescent eyes let the group see under the ocean.
There’s a hay bale in the farmer’s field. The Prisma’s eyes are wide as it studies the bale. Then its mouth opens, a tongue reaches out and curls around the bale, and it pulls it all in with one quick swallow.
Mizzle holds on for dear life as the Prisma dives from high in the sky, borne up by broad, sharply pointed wings. It flies between the walls of a canyon, extending extra wings for finer control as it does.
