Snippets of Further Adventures

This is something like a wish list, only less imperative - it’s more like adventures I imagine we could have. If any of these appeal to Mike & the other players, though…

Forest Follies

Inspired by Root and some JRPGs, the party enters an enchanted forest. Mizzle and Saraid get shrunk down to squirrel size! The Trimaldis are untouched (maybe being inside a magitech clank helped?) but they have to disembark to engage with a whole community of tiny animals and magical fairies.

The Really Flying Dutchman

The classic - a ghostly galleon of spectral buccaneers - but the twist is that it’s an airship! The raiders can descend on any settlement they like, and must be defeated by a combination of supernatural power and might of arms. Their arrival is heralded by awful storms, with the galleon descending from the midst of the storm clouds.

Hot and Cold Dungeon

A dungeon saturated by either fire or ice magic. The party runs into an impassable wall of ice. The magic will flip to fire, melting the ice wall - but will also superheat the rocks under our feet, meaning we have to move fast!

(In fact, the dungeon could be home to two elemental entities or wizards or whatever who are at odds with each other, or trying to understand each other)

Submarine Shenanigans

We have a huge map with water! Let’s put something under there - mysterious civilizations, sunken ruins, friendly turtle folk, weird gods.

Well, I could never turn anything down tied to Stingray

All of those sound fun, and a way to shake things up a little if anyone (including Mike) is feeling narratively tired. Heck, a couple of these could plug right into stuff we’re facing right now, as far as that goes.
