General Scheduling Thread

I have not played a tabletop game in about a month. I may have lost all my skill and knowledge of the hobby. We use colored math rocks, correct?

Mostly just checking in to see if gaming is happening tonight.

So this is how I had to sleep last night.

“sleep”, really, because every 20 minutes or so my feet would start to tingle and wake me up.

Basically I’m wiped out. I don’t think I can run tonight. Assuming I can sleep tonight, I’m going to need extra amounts of it.

So…yeah.other plans or null-plans are welcome.

Ugh. Disappointed, but more concerned about you. Take it easy, man.

Got my schedule for the next couple of weeks the other day.

Next week (23rd) I’m working overnight.

The following week (30th), I was going to be but luckily some overseas holidays have nixed that so I’m good.

Then I have three weeks (9/7, 14, 21) of overnights to deal with. I’ll add them to the calendar so they’re easily reviewable.

I’ve got a card based game that people are welcome to help me test. The rules as such are super duper light, it’s all about being creative. Other than that, if people just skip tonight, that would make sense.

The question of the evening: Do we go tonight, with Mike out, or do some alternative?

Go on without me!

The dramatic version is that we drag Roddy back only he’s still unconscious. The comedy version is that we drag Roddy back only he’s immediately off to do other stuff, leaving Joey, Mette, and Kiln to awkwardly confront overhearing Joey’s confession

Can we just leave him in Costa Rica? 'Cause that would be –

– yeah, yeah, I know.

Good news: I’m back in the game this week and next week. The 21st is still likely a no-go for me, though.

Excellent! I’m good for this week (though not next).

Not game related but since most folks are still stuck inside due to COVID and might not have anything fun to do Halloween weekend, I was scheduling a big playtest event with a bunch of folks from the Sentinels of the Multiverse community for the evening of October 30th. All of the Menagerie decks I’ve shown off to you guys will be available, as well as some you haven’t seen yet and a whole host of other content from other creators.

If any of you would like to join in, we’ll be playing on Tabletop Simulator from around 6pm (MDT) until everyone has had their fill of playing board games with potentially game-breaking components. If you have Steam and Tabletop Simulator, you’re already set. If not, I have an additional copy of Tabletop Simulator from a bundle I bought a while ago (Steam, by itself, is free).

I have no idea how to play (and would be pretty uncomfortable learning in this environment), but if you’re streaming it I’d love to watch that

A fair option. I’ll see what I can do about streaming. It might also just be recorded and uploaded to Youtube.

Also, if folks might be interested in a more private session another day to learn how to play Sentinels of the Multiverse and look at Menagerie decks, we see about scheduling that too.
